As gas prices across the United States begin to stabilize, Arizona’s markets continue to defy the trend, experiencing a rapid surge that has pushed the state’s average price per gallon above the $4 mark for the first time in nearly two months.
According to AAA, Arizona saw the highest increase in average gas prices among all US states, with a staggering rise of around 20 cents in just one week.
In contrast, the national average price per gallon increased by about five cents during the same period, bringing the average to $3.87.
This national average reflects a 30-cent increase from the previous month and a seven-cent decrease from the previous year.
