When Basketball Meets Rock: Steph Curry Joins Paramore Performance

This week’s Paramore event featured NBA star Steph Curry as a surprise special guest, as the Golden State Warriors ran around the stage in front of ecstatic spectators.

Curry is taking some time off during the off-season after the point guard recently celebrated his 12-year wedding anniversary by traveling to Greece with his wife Ayesha.

He also chose to have a break from basketball after the trip by attending a Paramore performance, where he was encouraged to join the band on stage by lead vocalist Hayley Williams.

Williams had already informed the audience that Curry was a good friend and that fans were now witnessing “The Steph Curry Show” instead of a Paramore concert.

Williams sang her classic song Misery Business with the 35-year-old standing behind her at the back of the stage in all-black, a backwards cap, and glasses. When she moved aside, he was free to walk to the front and sing the chorus.

This week’s Paramore event featured NBA star Steph Curry as a surprise special guest, as the Golden State Warriors ran around the stage in front of ecstatic spectators.

The tempo dropped, and confetti began to fall on the band as the four-time NBA champion, who appeared to be savoring the moment, bounced around on stage while waving to the audience.

Curry has had a very exciting summer. Last month, he participated in the American Century Championship golf tournament in Lake Tahoe, where he won and received $125,000 in prize money.

He started the competition with an amazing hole-in-one, and then topped it with his last eagle on the par-5 18th hole. He threw his hat into the air after the putt hit the ground and dashed into Ayesha’s arms.

Curry finished with 75 points, two more than Mardy Fish, the event’s runner-up and a former professional tennis player who won this competition in 2020. Curry promised to donate his prize money to charity. Curry was trailing Fish by three points going into the final hole, but Fish hit par.
