Several artists, including Cardi B, Bebe Rexha, Kelsea Ballerini, and Harry Styles, have recently been subjected to incidents where audience members either physically assaulted them or threw objects at them during their performances.

Bebe Rexha shared images of her bruised eye after a concertgoer threw a phone at her in Manhattan. Nicolas Malvagna, the man charged in the incident, allegedly did it as a prank, hoping Rexha would throw the phone back to him.

During a performance in Idaho, country singer Kelsea Ballerini was struck in the face by an object. She temporarily left the stage before coming back to perform acoustically while stressing the value of everyone in the audience’s safety.

Harry Styles also experienced being hit with an object during his concerts in both Vienna and the previous year, when a Skittles candy was thrown at him, hitting him in the eye. Skittles responded to the incident with an advertisement asking people not to throw the candy.

These incidents highlight the concerning trend of audience members throwing objects at performers during live shows, posing risks to the artists’ safety and calling for increased measures to ensure their protection.
